Level 60 Love pines for the olden days of Azeroth
We’ve heard the idea of “classic servers” passed around before — some players believe that things were better way back at level 60, when Molten Core was the beginning of the endgame, Tier 3 was as high as things got, and you had to coordinate a whole 40 man raid (shudder) just to pick up a few epics. Blizzard has already said no — they think it would be trouble to run two different versions of the game at a time, and you have to wonder if they have the capability, as much as the game has changed, to run an old server anyway.
But that hasn’t kept some players from continuing to ask — someone has even put together a whole site called, cleverly, “Level 60 Love,” designed to convince Blizzard to re-offer the vanilla game again. They’ve got a mission statement, a FAQ and forums, and even a few ways to “help” out (though you could question how signing a petition helps, but we guess every little bit counts).
It’s not too farfetched — as they point out, Dark Age of Camelot once hosted “classic” servers, and the idea of legacy raiding is

Breakfast Topic: A knock on knockbacks
The game-changing Echoes of Doom patch brought in a slew of new abilities and some of them included this nifty little feature called ‘knockback’, which effectively knocks back enemy players and NPCs. It’s a whole lot of fun, particularly if you’re knocking them off the bridge in Dun Baldar. I’ve been on the nasty receiving end of a knockback that sent me to my death in Eye of the Storm. I think it’s a lot of fun, and it really does create some interesting conundrums in Arenas.
Of course, not everyone is thrilled by them. Our very own Allison Robert, bear tank extraordinaire, has torn out about half her hair (poor Allie!) in frustration from knockbacks messing with tanking. She implores you to use these abilities with restraint for the sake of her sanity. It’s a level-headed request that Blizzard hears. They’ve recently hinted at new Glyphs that will remove the knockback effect from certain spells such as Blast Wave, Typhoon, and Thunderstorm.
How’s your experience with knockback effects? Have you used it to kill enemies in Battlegrounds? Used it to escape some pesky Rogue slicing and

Lake Wintergrasp: Lets Make It Better
Hello,
I’m here today to talk about my experience with Lake Wintergrasp and how I believe the zone can benefit from a few changes and improvements. A lot of folks don’t quite understand how Wintergrasp works, so I’ll provide a brief overview of the game rules.
As of the most recent build, during each round either the alliance or horde control the main fortress, located at the northernmost point in the centre of the map. They are the defenders, from within their base they make use of two siege factories to produce vehicles.
The attackers can capture two siege factories located at the east and west points of the map in order to produce siege vehicles to break into the defender’s keep and ultimately break down their inner keep door for the win.
I’d like to propose some tweaks to this system in order to see a more dynamic, enjoyable and balanced large-scale pvp experience in Wintergrasp. Firstly, I like the idea of siege equipment, adds a new feel to pvp.. for about 15 mins. After that, you’re stuck wondering why you’re forced to use a catapult or somesuch with a total of 2 different
