I’ve gotta think this is a bug and I suspect it’s been reported before, though I can’t find it on the forum.
At 290 skill, inscriptionists get Scroll of Stamina VI; at 295, they get Scroll of Spirit VI. Both require Ethereal Ink.
However, you don’t actually get the skill to make Ethereal Ink until 300.
This means that from 295 to 300, everything available to level from is green – because the two orange recipes require an ink you can’t actually make. I realize that most professions get a little odd around that skill level, but this still seems backwards.

1.) Can we possibly get and option similar to the sort by “have materials”
can we get one to “Sort by skill”
Orange
Yellow
Green
Grey
2.) also i have noticed a lot when im scrolling through my professions, it sometimes goes to the top randomly when im trying to find some (especially in enchanting it happens a lot)
3.) Can we get categories to + and – for enchanting similar to other professions
like
-Cloak
Stats
+Wrist
+Gloves
-Chest
Stats
Resil
etc.

Devs,
I posted this earlier in what turned into a QQ and flaming thread about lack of equality in professions, so I copied it and pasted it here, hoping it would start a discussion more specifically directed at the idea. I would love user feedback on the idea as well, but please keep posts to constructive ideas and additions about the idea.
Seeing the new inscription shoulder enchants makes me wish that instead of a craftable headpiece, that you could affix Goggles to your current helm, giving us effectively a craftable head enchant. This would fit well in line with the other changes to engineering that allow us to modify existing gear instead of crafting pigeon hole items like we have in the past. Doing this would allow not only enchants for tanking, DPS, healing etc. but would also perhaps give Blizzard a way of re-introducing some of the things we miss like Mind Control Cap, Water breathing and so on. While no one would put Water Breathing head enchant on their primary tanking helm, it would still be nice to slap the enchant on recently replaced piece of plate, rather then the 12 stam cloth piece we currently have to use for breathing under water.
They might even be able to

Breakfast Topic: Which two specs will you be choosing?
When we heard back in June at BlizzCon International that players will be able to switch between two specs easily in the expansion I thought to myself “no brainer.” Not just the concept, but I knew which specs I was going to choose. Being a Feral druid, I could already tank and DPS. I just needed to choose Restoration and I’m covered.
Flash forward almost four months later and Tigole confirms the functionality is coming in a patch shortly after the expansion. But suddenly I’m not so sure about my choices. Come Patch 3.0.2 major class changes are a coming. I switched from Restoration to Feral during TBC and learned to enjoy tanking, but I fell in love with cat form.
Now Blizzard is buffing cat DPS in a big way. Unfortunately, it’s at the cost of tanking talents. So do I go cat and bear for my two specs or cat and tree? And the Moonkin DPS got a good kick in the feathered ass as well. The choices! Given how the classes are changing and many more specs are becoming viable, which two specs are you considering for your main?

Breakfast Topic: So what sorta pet are you gonna get?
This question is mostly for hunters, but if you are not a hunter, please feel free to pretend you are a hunter and answer accordingly.
As you already know, patch 3.02, also known as “Echoes of Doom Doom do Doom Doom“, will bring with it all those nifty changes to hunter pets’ abilities and talents, in addition to doom. Beast Mastery hunters are even getting especially special pets in the form of Exotic Pets through their 51-talent point, called Beast Mastery. Some Beast Mastery hunters will not be getting the Beast Mastery talent, however, because they feel like the coolness of the pet plus a few extra pet talent points do not a worthy 51-talent point make. Other Beast Mastery hunters are just like, “WHOA! Did you see that friggin Core Hound?!” Still other Beast Mastery hunters find the booming sound of Exotic Pet footfalls far too loud, or for other reasons simply prefer normal pets: “Dude, I’m gonna get me a Gorilladin!” or “I’ve always seen myself as a Pink Flamingo Hunter, and now my hour of destiny has arrived at last!”
So what sorta pet are you gonna

Around Azeroth: The huggable abomination
No, Patchwerk, it’s … it’s cool. I really do want to play. I’d love to play with you, but you need to put your … intestines back first. Then we can play catch, or tag, or whatever the heck we can think up to do with fifty Death Knights stuck in a floating citadel. Maybe Red Rover. Just back up about five paces and drop the cleaver so I can clear my sinuses first. (Thanks to Rio for this screenie from Acherus in the Wrath beta!)
This image came to us straight from the Wrath of the Lich King beta — and we’d love to have your beta screenshots, too! If you have anything our readers might like, beta or not, sharing it is as simple as e-mailin with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing — use alt-Z to remove it. No more battleground scoreboards, please.

Gamestop has stopped online WotLK Collector’s Edition pre-orders
Until recently, Gamestop was offering pre-orders of the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion, Wrath of the Lich King, the Collector’s Edition.
At this point, you can still pre-order, but you’ll have to drop in at one of their locations, because according to their website, they are “currently not available online.”
Being Canadian, I’m an awfully sad panda right now. I could not decide if I wanted to pay the extra $20, plus customs, and have to wait an extra week at least in order to get my hands on one, and now I’m regretting not putting in the order. At least it would have been a back-up I could have canceled later!
I stopped into my local EB Games last night and was told that they do not know if, when, or how many copies they’ll be getting.
Of course, if you’re willing to shell out approximately $300 for a copy, Amazon has you covered. Anyone else have any leads?

Addon Spotlight: Mac Dual-boxing 1
The new Recruit-A-Friend program has taken the World of Warcraft community by storm, perhaps more so in the dual- and multi-boxing circles. I’ll admit that while I advocate enjoying the leveling process and experiencing the lore through quests and in-game events, once you’ve hit 70 a couple of times, the magic tends to wane. With the coming of Wrath of the Lich King, we’ve had some time to re-evaluate our WoW experience. For many of us, finishing up some alts has become a way to prepare for the expansion. I’ve had a number of alts since I started playing, but have only managed to ding two paladins and a rogue. Each time I play in a battleground I see a member of another class do something crazy cool and ponder rolling whatever class it is.
With the RAF program in full effect, I decided that dual-boxing with the 300% XP and Summon Friend ability would be the most efficient way to get my alts Wrath-ready. This How-To is specifically for players using Macs, but in essence many of the principles remain true for PC users.
Setup
The first thing you need to do is set up your “friend’s” account. This is done

WTB fashion sense
I see a lot of the Professions are getting a lot of love lately. Cooking, specially, has been particularly awesome in Wrath of the Lich King, with cooks able to prepare feasts for raids that give excellent buffs. Engineering has been fun, too, although I have yet to see the schematic for my Harley Softail Hog. I’m curious about one thing, though… where are my shirts? With all the options to customize characters in the game — I mean, those barbershops are pretty neat — how come there aren’t any new shirt patterns?
There are over 50 different shirts in the game, 22 of which are tailored. The rest are uncouth styles that are simply too unfashionable for my needs. I’ve picked up enough Sleeveless T-Shirts in Alterac Valley to clothe an army. It makes me cringe to see Level 70 characters still sporting their original Thug Shirt. Let’s get some style, people! There are a good number of shirts to choose from, but frankly, we need Fall fashions for Wrath of the Lich King. I mean, the last great (and saleable) shirt pattern was the Rich Purple Silk Shirt. And that was from vanilla WoW.
Fashion in World of Warcraft has fallen

Pirate Loot Phriday: Foror’s Eyepatch
Yaaaarrrr maties, that scurvy-ridden deck-scrubber Schramm was made to walk the plank during the last plunderin’ voyage on the South Seas, so I, Capt’n’ Blackbeard, be here to tell yer about my favorite Pirate Loot in the game today. Ye may remember me from such posts as my Piratical quest guide, and if ye really want to dress up like a pirate, maybe ye’ll be interested in some Savory Deviate Delight. But enough high seas promotin’ — let’s get to this Epic eyepatch!
Name: Foror’s Eyepatch (Wowhead, Thottbot, Wowdb)
Type: Epic Leather Headpiece
Armor: 183
Abilities:
· Yaaar maties — this eyepatch increases yer Stamina by 19, which is good, because you’ll need as much Staminer as ye can manage to drink toe to toe with ol’ Blackbeard. O’course, +19 Stamina ain’t much now that ye’re sailing around the cosmos in Outland and such, but back when we pirates ruled the seven seas of Azeroth, it were plenty!
· It also increases yer
